Green Products

We are pleased to offer our customers a number of environmentally friendly products.

Biomass burning products
Wood and pellets are both renewable energy sources. Pellets are made from waste products such as compacted sawdust.

The wood and pellet burning units which we carry, burn with high efficiency ratings and minimal emissions.

Solar Panels
Energy generated by the sun to heat your home or domestic hot water is free and there is no pollution. Unfortunately to enjoy this free source of energy there must be an initial capital investment.

Heat Pumps
In the winter heat pumps extract heat from the outside and in the summer they extract cold air. Heat pumps, or mini splits, as they are also called, will heat about 1000 square feet of space at one-third the cost of electric baseboard heating.

Electric Fireplaces
Electric fireplaces can be used for zone heating. It is much more efficient to add heat to the space where it is needed than to increase the heat to an entire home or floor.

The Big Green Egg
The Big Green Egg is a Smoker and BBQ that burns natural lump charcoal, a renewable source of energy. When you are finished cooking you can starve the Egg of oxygen which saves remaining charcoal for the next time.

Bicycles
Save on gas and get great exercise, by riding a bicycle to work, the supermarket or the sports field.
